He supports staff in following care plans, safeguarding procedures, and CQC fundamental standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities as Service Manager

  • Overseeing daily operations across residential and supported living settings.

  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Supporting and coaching staff to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.

  • Monitoring and maintaining health & safety standards within all homes.

  • Managing occupancy, admissions, and resident transitions smoothly.

  • Implementing and reviewing care plans to meet individual needs.

  • Leading safeguarding practices and responding to concerns promptly.

  • Liaising with families, professionals, and external agencies to ensure seamless support.

  • Driving continuous improvement through audits, feedback, and training.
